Abstract

Capture and activation of small molecules by metal complexes is one of the important chemical processes to understand the function of metalloenzymes. Furthermore such process leads to develop material/energy conversion catalysts and sensing materials.

At this symposium, the contents will be focused and discussed on capturing and activating small molecules by metal complexes and metalloenzymes. We will invite several speakers with various research backgrounds. We would like to provide a place to interact with each other for speakers and participants through this symposium.

We will invite 5 ~ 6 speakers containing 2~3 foreign or Japanese researchers in foreign research institutes with about 30 min per speaker. We hope to give stimulation for students and young post-doctors through this symposium.
