Abstract

In this decades, the two-dimensional material “nanosheet” has gained distinctive attention. The most famous nanosheet is grapheme (Science 2004, 306, 666), which is the subject of Nobel prize of physics in 2010. Additional spotlights are shed on metal dichalcogenides (Nature 2014, 514, 470), metal oxides (Nature 2015, 517, 68), and so on. Also, molecule-based nanosheets have just been regarded as promising newcomers (Nature Chem. 2014, 6, 468; Nature Chem. 2014, 6, 779; Nature Chem. 2014, 6, 774). This symposium is devoted to nanosheet science where coordination chemistry plays important roles, inviting young lecturers.
